SUMMARY

A top international management consultancy firm is looking for a Senior Coordinator Human Resources. They assist major corporations worldwide with strategy formulation, acquisitions, technology, organisational design and performance improvement. This role provides operational and administrative support to the HR department, managing policies, procedures, and creating and maintaining necessary documentation. Manages performance planning for local CSS staff.

RESPONSIBILITIES
CSS HR
Work with CSS managers to determine hiring needs from broader CSS team for both Johannesburg and Lagos: Responsible for initial resume screen, all first round interviews, liaison with candidate throughout the process.
Manage relationships with external recruitment agencies.
Create start-up schedules for all CSS hires to ensure proper integration and training.
Manage and maintain CSS mentor/buddy programs as neccessary.
Manage CSS training program working closely with the CSS management team. Conduct needs analyses to determine what professional development is necessary for the staff. Research programs and make recommendations. Set up internal and external trainers where necessary.
Other CSS HR responsibilities.
Budgets
Preparation of departmental budgets and re-forecasts in conjunction with Finance as necessary (for HR budgets) with HR Manager.
Benefits
Employee contact for all benefits administration in both Johannesburg & Lagos.
Respond to employee questions and resolve claims issues.
Manage relationships with all employee benefit service providers (for healthcare, life insurance, long-term disability insurance, provident fund) to ensure best service and value for employees.
Work closely with Global Benefits team to ensure all local benefits are in line with the Company's standards.
Rolled out new benefit programmes for the Lagos office.
HR Compliance
Coordinate with Warsaw SSC to maintain all employee records on Workday.
Coordinate with Warsaw SSC to maintain employee agreements for Johannesburg and Lagos, i.e. employment contracts, LOA agreements, transfer agreements, exit agreements.
HR/Payroll liaison for both Johannesburg & Lagos.
Participate in the development and recommendation of operating policy and procedural improvements.
Consulting Compensation
Works closely with HR Manager, HR coordinator in Warsaw and Finance team on the bi-annual consulting compensation exercise in June and December.
Nigeria HR Contact
Work closely with Nigeria Office Head & South African HR Manager to determine hiring needs. Manager the hiring process.
Main contact person for the Nigeria office HR queries.
Liaise with all local Nigerian benefit services providers.
Work closely with Global Benefits team to ensure all local benefits are within line with the Company's standards.
QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or Business Administration preferred.
2 - 4 years of professional Human Resources experience is required.
Comprehensive knowledge of, and experience with, Microsoft Word/PowerPoint.
Advanced Excel skills preferred.
